About this app

Anda is a mobile app designed to enable travelling within Porto public transport network with Andante multimodal fares. It does so in a simple, fast and comfortable fashion.

With Anda, travellers do not need to know fare rules and may travel with the certainty that they will only be charged with the minimum possible value for all journeys.

To use Anda start by creating an account and associate one of the following payments methods to your account: credit/debit card or Multibanco card. To start travelling ensure that NFC, bluetooth, location and internet are enabled. From now on you just need to validate and travel!


In order to validate keep your phone close to the validator. Please keep your phone still, 2 or 3 cm apart from the validator. A green light will be shown simultaneously with a friendly single beep, indicating a correct validation. Avoid touching the validator with your phone and try to keep it still. If the validation was successful, Anda will show a "On Trip" notification.

During the trip, it is possible to follow intermediate stops. Upon vehicle exit, Anda will determine you journey has ended and will automatically close the current trip.

At any time you can check the trips you have already made and the amount charged by them.

Download Anda and travel freely by bus, tram or train on the Andante network.

I am always getting an error "Please add Anda to the list of protected apps in order to function correctly" and no matter what I change on the settings it is leading me - the error does not go away 😒 super annoying and taking a lot of time when I need fast validate my trip or show the details to controller. It would be great if you could create step-by-step instructions with such issue. And one more request - when it will finally be available for iOs. I have to carry an Android just for the app

Installed it, hoping that I could see the public transportation options in Porto, forces to create login, in order to register it needs permissions to make calls... Nope, not going this way at least without having a bit of a look into what it has to offer before giving anything more than phone memory Positive thing the home page looks very nice

Hopelessly unreliable. Sometimes it won't log the stops you've gone too - not even where you got on. Sometimes it won't validate on buses. Sometimes it will think you got off one stop later than you did, because you walked there after you got off the bus. It never validates on the Metro or buses outside STCP. If you uninstall the app or reset your phone, it might not work at all. General support will tell you never to do that. Technical support will fix it after you've already bought tickets.
