About this app

Counter App - Tally Pure is a fast, ad-free counter app and tally counter for anything worth counting, and it works completely offline.

Visitors at a door, reps in training, rows while knitting, drinks at a party, stock in a warehouse, prayer beads or a darts leg: instead of paper and pen, you just tap the screen.

SEVERAL COUNTERS AT ONCE

Use your counters right on the home screen, without opening them first. Two cards side by side, or one large card with every counter below it as a tile. The number is always centred and stays fully readable even with six digits.

START COUNTING STRAIGHT AWAY

Ready-made templates right on the home screen: visitors, reps, laps, rows, goals, points, drinks, coffee, water, stocktaking, prayer beads, countdown, darts 501 and 301. Tap one and the name, colour, icon and step size are set. Everything stays editable afterwards.

COUNTING THAT STAYS OUT OF THE WAY

• Large tap area: inside a counter, every tap on the screen counts
• Undo button for the one tap too many
• The screen stays awake while you count
• Volume keys count up and down without looking
• Haptic feedback if you want it
• Quick steps for large amounts, e.g. +5, +10, +100

UP, DOWN AND DARTS

Every counter can count up, or down from a starting value towards 0, for example as a countdown for portions or stock left. Darts 501 and 301 get their own board: enter every dart (single, double, triple, bull), with checkout hints, bust and double out.

COUNT WITHOUT OPENING THE APP

Four ways that never need the app to open:

• NFC stickers with their own menu: pick a counter, hold an empty sticker to your phone, stick it on. From then on a tap counts, at a door, a shelf or a weight bench
• Quick settings tile: count from the notification shade, over any other app
• Home screen widget
• Counter in the notification shade with plus and minus buttons

HISTORY AT A GLANCE

Counts today, goals reached and days in a row sit on the home screen, with a bar chart of the last seven days. Inside a counter you see every count with its time.

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE

This tally counter collects nothing. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising IDs, no account. Every counter lives only on your device. The app needs no internet connection; the single exception is the Pro purchase through Google Play.
