About this app

Arborescence proposes various original keys to identify the vascular plants of Quebec flora. With the application, the user has the choice between several ways to navigate through the anatomical details that characterize families, genres or species. In order to identify a plant, it can consult a visual key, a textual key, the index, the glossary or the search tool in order to reach the descriptive sheet of the species. Each sheet presents the characteristics of the plant using photographs. For example, for the trees, the port, the trunk and its bark, the leaf, the flower and the fruit are shown in detail, a general distribution map and additional information are provided.
 
The mobile application works without an internet connection.
