It's adequate. Would like to manage the alarms more, they automatically shut off once you turn them off once, if you had a snooze feature that would shut off for so long then turned back on that would be better. The range is very decent and the fact that you can set custom X and temperature range with their own unique name is pretty cool. Need more flexibility with the alarm settings including different alarms for different probes and custom ringtone like options

Set up is easy as long as you allow device to access location. It will not connect to bluetooth without it. As soon as you connect the device go into the app settings and switch off the allow location settings if you prefer. The device will remain connected. Seems like a good unit but i do wish the connection instructions were more specific.

Update: Well, no more 'fire alarm' notification. As a matter of fact, no alarms at all anymore. App crashes every time I try and set audible alarm, so vibrate only to notify. Very disappointing to move backwards. Original review : Decent, useful, but why can't I change/modify alarm tones and /or style?? My wife does not like the fire alarm scare in the middle of the night when I am managing a 12 hour smoke!
