This works better than I thought it would. The in-app camera works just fine but I've encountered many issues. Firstly, the movement is very staggered and it adds this weird quality to my videos. Also, I can't seem to use the face tracking outside of the app, ie. on snapchat. I've granted the app every permission it asked for, including overlay on other apps. A little icon will overlay, but it does nothing and will disappear if touched. Also the game crashes due to what it called "a known bug"

I really was hoping the reviews were wrong. The device looks good. The Apai Genie app is just flawed and sad part is you need this all in order to work the device. Without this app the GimbOwl is just useless. It took them weeks to send it to me, I was super excited to recieve it and now I think I want a refund. I wish they would update the app to make it better. Videos I record on the app don't save to my files or maybe they are saving to a random location. I wouldn't know. Never found them!

This app does not offer any in depth configurations for saved video, the device itself does work as far as recording but the recorded videos do not save to my Samsung Galaxy 10s plus and it is up to date. I reached out for support and was basically given the directions in setting up the device. I would recommend having a location within the app that saves videos and pictures.
