PID Tuner brings calculation, simulation, and technical reference into one app. Enter the process data, choose a tuning method, and review Kp, Ki, and Kd with a clear view of the system behavior.

10 TUNING METHODS

Work with Ziegler-Nichols, Cohen-Coon, Chien-Hrones-Reswick, IAE, ITAE, IMC, Tyreus-Luyben, AMIGO, Ciancone-Marlin, and Rule of Thumb. The app shows which controller types and process parameters are compatible with each method.

FROM PROCESS DATA TO CONTROLLER GAINS

• Configure FOPDT models with process gain, time constant, and dead time.
• Use open-loop data or closed-loop critical parameters.
• Calculate P, PI, PD, and PID controllers for the selected method.
• Edit Kp, Ki, and Kd to evaluate manual adjustments.

STEP-RESPONSE SIMULATION

Visualize the controlled-system and process step responses. Review steady-state value, overshoot, rise time, settling time, and the stability indicator. Switch between chart and table views to inspect the simulation data.

TECHNICAL REFERENCE INSIDE THE APP

Review the inputs, equations, and formulas behind each method. The analysis guide explains the FOPDT model and helps you interpret the transient response without leaving the calculation flow.

PID TUNER PRO

Organize control loops by project, keep a tuning history, and compare methods using the same process. Advanced tools include trial-and-error tuning, Bode and Nyquist plots, root locus, stability margins, and performance metrics. Premium accounts can also synchronize projects and history between the app and the website.

BUILT FOR STUDY AND PRACTICE

PID Tuner is designed for students, technicians, engineers, and industrial automation and process-control professionals. Basic calculations are available in guest mode without creating an account.
