About this app

Remote Andy is a phone remote for Android TV and Google TV. Pair it once on the same Wi-Fi and control the TV from your phone. Nothing is installed on the TV.

How it works
Put the phone and the TV on the same Wi-Fi. Guest networks hide the TV. Scan for the TV, or type its IP if the scan finds nothing. The TV shows a code. Enter it in the app. After that, the phone stays paired.

Set a default TV and it opens when you start the app, and again when you come back to it.

Made for one hand

The remote sits on the right for right-hand use. Switch to left hand in Settings.
Pick a color scheme. Keep the screen awake, or let it dim after 1, 2, 5, or 10 minutes. The screen does not turn off.

More than one phone
Each phone pairs on its own. Two phones on the same network can both control the TV. You do not copy an account or a code between them.

Private by design
The pairing certificate, TV name, and address stay on the phone. Remote Andy does not send them to a server. There is no account.

Remote Andy is an independent app from Osmi Bit. It is not made by, or affiliated with, the TV maker or the apps opened from the buttons.
