How does the application work?
When following a call to 112, the Bucharest - Ilfov Ambulance Service registers an emergency of code red or code yellow, information such as GPS position, address and case details are taken over automatically. Volunteers enrolled in the program that are within a maximum radius of 1000 meters from the place where the emergency was registered are alerted by the dispatcher of the Ambulance Service through this application.
Thus, you receive on the phone details about the emergency, the address and the position on the interactive map and you can decide if you can arrive in time. After accepting the case and going to the emergency room, you can communicate with other volunteers or with the dispatcher of the Bucharest - Ilfov Ambulance Service. After providing first aid and when handing over the case to the emergency crew, you will report this by application along with the car number and the condition of the victim.
