About this app

Orthodox Calendar helps you consult the saints, holidays, fasts and absolutions for the period 2026–2030, in a clear interface, available even without an internet connection.

Main functions:

- current day and the next seven days;
- monthly calendar with legend for holidays and fast days;
- search by saint, name or holiday;
- favorite names and saints, with optional local reminders;
- daily notification and optional announcement of major holidays;
- fasts, prayer guide and local pomelnik (data remains on the phone);
- short texts about traditions, with optional "Read more" link;
- widget for the home screen;
- sharing a day as an image and adding it to the calendar;
- light/dark theme and adjustable text size.

Personal data entered in the pomelnik and favorites remains on the device. The application disables Android backup and transfer for its data and does not include ads, accounts, analytics or tracking.

The calendar is indicative and does not suggest official affiliation with a church institution. For the complete order and individual situations, consult the authorized church calendar and the spiritual priest.
