About this game

Gravity Box is a minimalist, skill-based physics puzzle where you use blasts to push a box around, hopefully in the finish point.

The early levels will teach you how to play the game and present the basic concepts: you are equipped with a rocket launcher used by tapping on the screen. Blasts are created where the rocket explodes.

The game's difficulty consists in using the right amount of force by launching rockets at the right distance and angle.

It's time to remember the laws of motion!

An interesting game. Often fun, but it seems like it's disingenuous about its leaderboards, or maybe there's a glitch - there's no way I've got the uncontested record in 3 of the first 15 stages, for instance. Furthermore, there are factors which aren't necessarily luck-based, but which are too precise to be reasonably controlled, such as bouncing off corners, getting sorta stuck in acute angles, and rolling.

This is a very fun game. Every now and then I come back to play through all the levels. Towards the end they get quite challenging, occasionally frustrating, though that isn't necessarily bad. It's an interesting mechanic with well thought out levels. And I love that I can see the percent players who did as well as me. I'm quite an introvert, but still have a screenshot from 2020 when I beat level 85 in fewer moves than anyone else.

I had written a more thoughtful review that somehow disappeared. Either way, I complained about the menu/reset buttons placement and the issue was fixed literally a day later so I came back to change my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Also, you can't just spam your way through every level, eventually there will be levels where it's literally impossible to do so.

Hey! The issue is now fixed in the latest version, 1.1.6, as the buttons were moved to the top of the screen. Thanks for reporting :)
