About this app

Post Office Saathi is an independent Android utility for post office forms, document PDFs and savings scheme estimates. It helps postal agents, staff, office workers and customers find forms, create clean PDFs, calculate post office savings returns and reopen recent work from one simple app.

Built for daily postal work
The Home screen keeps the main workflows close: Download Forms, Create PDF, Interest Calculator, Quick Links and Recent Work. The design is large and clear for repeated counter, field, office or home use.

Search and download postal forms
Use Download Forms to search by form name, form number, scheme or keyword. The catalog includes common POSB forms such as SB-AOF, SB-KYC, SB-ATM1, SB-103, SB-7, SB-7A, SB-7B, SB-7C, SB-83, SB-41, ECS Mandate, Form 121 for no TDS, nomination, transfer and deceased depositor claim forms.

Download a form PDF, open it, or share it through Android apps. Saved forms stay available from device storage and from Recent Work.

Create clean document PDFs
Use Create PDF to prepare card or document photos for sharing. Capture photos with the camera or import images from the gallery, correct document corners, rotate or adjust the image, choose a 1, 2 or 3 card layout, preview placement on an A4 page, enter the customer name and save the final PDF.

Created PDFs are saved locally in Documents/PostOfficeSaathi. Downloaded forms are saved in Documents/PostOfficeSaathi/Forms, so files can be opened from the app or a normal file manager.

Post office savings calculators
The Interest Calculator estimates returns for common post office savings schemes using bundled and synced rate data where available. Calculate RD, TD, MIS, NSC, KVP, PPF, SSY, SCSS, Savings Account, MSSC and custom simple or compound interest.

Each calculator adapts to the scheme: RD monthly deposit and installments, TD 1/2/3/5 year tenure, MIS monthly payout, SCSS quarterly payout and extension, PPF and SSY yearly deposits, Savings Account date-based interest, and MSSC for past investments.

Results show deposited amount, interest earned, maturity amount or total received, maturity date, rate, input summary, year-wise interest where available and RD continuation projections. Share calculation results by WhatsApp or other apps.

Plan suggestions and agent lookup
Use Suggest Plans to compare savings scheme estimates for an investment amount. Open any suggested scheme in the detailed calculator with the amount already filled. The same sheet includes Agent Finder, where a pincode search can show listed agent contacts from GitHub-backed data, with call, WhatsApp and share actions when available.

Quick links for postal services
Quick Links can be updated from GitHub without requiring an app update. Account Balance opens the POSB/IPPB passbook page in your browser when online. If the device is offline, the app shows a clear message instead of silently failing.

Offline and local-first workflow
PDF creation works locally after images are captured or imported. Saved PDFs and downloaded forms can be opened again from Recent Work. New form downloads, quick links, rate sync and agent lookup need internet, and offline failures show a clear message.

Helpful app controls
Settings include system, light and dark theme options, Help & FAQ, Privacy, feedback email and a rate-app action. Onboarding introduces the main workflows: forms, PDFs and Recent Work.

Privacy and independence
No login is required inside the app. Created PDFs and downloaded forms are stored on your device. Camera permission is used only when you choose to capture photos for a PDF. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics help improve usage insights and stability.
