About this app

Herp Tracker is a field survey tool for amphibians and reptiles. It records the transect on the map, records the findings at the exact position and exports the data in formats that colleagues already use.

• Recording a transect on a Google map, with a trace of the traveled route
• Find a point with a species from a catalog of 50 species
• Developmental stage, sex, data type, collection method, habitat, water body and abundance
• Date, coordinates, altitude and accuracy are entered automatically
• More photos per find, with a copy in the phone gallery
• Export and share as CSV, KML or KMZ with photos
• Import previously shared KML and KMZ files
• Back up the entire database along with photos
• Serbian and English language

The data remains on the device. Nothing is sent to the server — everything leaves the phone only when you share the file.
