Kinta is a personal finance app built for people who've tried every budgeting app and quit. Not because you're lazy. Because those apps were designed to make you work harder, track more, and feel guilty when you slip. That approach doesn't work. Willpower runs out. Shame doesn't motivate. Spreadsheets don't change behavior.
Kinta takes a different approach. We believe managing money should feel like a conversation, not a chore. Less tracking, more understanding. Less judgement, more clarity.
Built for Europe, by Europeans.
Kinta connects to your bank through Enable Banking, a licensed provider regulated under EU PSD2. This means read-only access to your transactions. We can see what you spend. We can never touch your money.
Your data is encrypted end-to-end using the same 256-bit encryption banks use. All processing happens on European infrastructure. GDPR compliant by design.
What Kinta helps you with:
Understanding where your money actually goes. Not what you think you spend. What you actually spend.
Seeing the real amount you have for the month, after rent, bills, and obligations. Most people have never calculated this number.
Setting goals that match your life, not someone else's template.
Building better habits without the guilt cycle that kills every other budgeting app.
Who Kinta is for:
People who earn enough to be fine but somehow never are. People who've tried YNAB, Emma, Plum, Revolut Budgeting, and quit after a week. People who look at their bank balance and feel a little sick. People who know they need help with money and are tired of apps that treat them like the problem.
If any of that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
Security and privacy
256-bit encryption in transit and at rest. Read-only bank access through PSD2-regulated providers. Your data stays in Europe. GDPR compliant. No ads. No data selling. Ever.
About us
Kinta is built by a small team in Ljubljana, Slovenia. We're not a giant fintech with hundreds of engineers. We're a few people who believe European consumers deserve better money tools than the ones built for American markets.
If you have feedback, we actually read it. If something breaks, we actually fix it.
If you tell us what you need, we actually listen.
Welcome to Kinta.
