The OBD application for car ECU diagnostics for the ELM327 Bluetooth adapter, being a multi-brand universal equipment, allows you to connect to most cars.
myDiag is designed to diagnose and identify vehicle malfunctions via the OBD 2 diagnostic connector. Allows you to connect via data transfer protocols to the ECU of various cars, read error codes, reset error codes, display streaming data from car sensors (such as DPKV, DMRV, Lambda probes, etc.) Build graphs and diagrams, act as a customizable digital-analog dashboard, monitor engine operation using sensors and readings from the engine control unit.
myDiag allows you to connect to control units via the most affordable diagnostic adapter ELM327, and, regardless of the manufacturer, via a Bluetooth wireless connection or via USB, it independently selects the necessary data transfer protocol, and depending on the supported functions provided by the ECU itself, gives access to all the data necessary for diagnostics when repairing a car.
The application was tested on several adapters and cars from the following manufacturers: VAZ - ECU (January, Bosh), VAG cars - ECU (Bosh), BMW - ECU (Bosh, Siemens), Renault ECU (Siemens). On these tested cars, a stable connection was obtained, streaming data was read and current errors were reset.
In the provided screenshots, the connection was established with a BMW 5 car.
