Tried this app with a printed photo album that had AR markers in it and it worked better than I expected. The scanning was pretty quick once I figured out the right distance, and the animated photos actually looked smooth instead of glitchy. What I liked most is that it doesn’t feel overly complicated. You just scan the QR code and point the camera at the image, and the effect starts almost immediately.

A really cool app that makes photo albums and postcards so much more interactive. The AR scanner picks up the QR codes instantly and plays the embedded videos flawlessly without lagging. The video tracking stays locked onto the picture even if you move your hands around a bit. Simple, clean, and a fun way to share memories

It's a nice concept, but it was hard to find any QR codes that it works with. Also, they do not automatically translate the app into other languages, so unless you know Russian, I suggest something similar that does offer multiple languages.
