The radio was founded by Michael Houby and Kristoffer Petersen in May 2017. Two guys who love music and radio decided to start a radio that could only be heard on the Internet. Since then it has become possible to listen to YouSee Homebox, Bose and div. other media centers.
Initially, not many people listened to it, but after being extremely active on various social media, Radio Freja has proven to be a good competitor to the major network radios in Denmark, with 60000 unique listeners on an annual basis.
The music being played goes straight to the heart. When you were young in the 80s and 90s you will be able to recognize many of the hits that are being performed.
