"No Myopia" is a digital assistant for parents that helps them gather key information about their child's vision from ophthalmologist reports in one place and monitor how these indicators change over time.
Myopia, or nearsightedness, is increasingly being diagnosed in children at an early age and can worsen as the child grows. Regular eye exams and monitoring of vision changes help detect myopia progression early and, together with the doctor, choose the appropriate management method.
The app allows you to:
• create a separate card for each child;
• transfer key data from the ophthalmologist's reports;
• store examination results and doctor visit history in one place;
• track how your child's vision changes from one examination to the next;
• maintain records of your child's vision characteristics and lifestyle;
• complete a short questionnaire to help prepare for a discussion with the doctor about possible myopia management options;
• receive reminders about scheduled appointments;
• Read clear materials about myopia, examinations, and modern approaches to monitoring and treatment.
The informational materials are prepared taking into account current clinical guidelines and scientific publications from the ophthalmology community. These materials help parents better understand examination results and confidently discuss their child's vision with an ophthalmologist.
The app was developed by the National Myopia Institute with the participation of specialists in the field of myopia control and prevention.
This app is not a medical device and is not intended for self-diagnosis or treatment. It does not replace a doctor's consultation. For questions about diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment, please consult a qualified ophthalmologist.
