Nomad Travel Talk is a lightweight travel companion for speaking with locals — without fighting a bulky translator.

Speak. Translate. Listen. Practice.
Hold the mic, get a clear translation, and (in Balanced/Cloud) see how to pronounce the line in your own script. Built for real trips: taxis, markets, cafés, hotels.

MODES
• Autonomous — fully on-device (Android speech + ML Kit). Translation only; no cloud, no pronunciation variants.
• Balanced (default) — on-device first, cloud AI when you need richer phrasing and phonetics.
• Cloud — Whisper + LLM when you want maximum quality and have an API key.

PRIVACY
No accounts. History stays on your phone. Microphone is used only for speech features you start. Cloud AI runs only if you configure and choose it.

What’s new

Pronunciation now follows your app language. Stress marks restored. Long-press to copy any result line. New AI providers: NaraRouter and a custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Live conversation in Talk mode: auto-speak the translation, then flip the language pair. Bluetooth shutter / volume-down works as hold-to-talk.
