The Robin Online mobile application helps blind people in various life situations: from finding their favorite product in a store to helping a volunteer.
Using simple functions of the application, you can get help from a volunteer via video link, determine what objects are nearby, recognize printed text, read a QR code from a product or business card of a new acquaintance, identify banknotes, and send an emergency message to loved ones.
To use all the functions, a blind person must select the role of "Blind user" during registration.
Important! Before starting, you need to make sure that the TalkBack function is enabled on your smartphone. It works differently on different devices.
All functions are located on the main screen of the application. Below them are the buttons: "Settings", "Profile" and "Training". The last button contains training blocks for each function. They can be viewed at any time.
For other users who are ready to help the blind, you must select the role of "Volunteer". A volunteer will help you navigate in space, find a lost item, etc.
The mobile application was developed with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The application is free.
