Resurrecting Legends
Almaty resident Maksat Sartaev accidentally finds a forum on the Internet in which there is a heated discussion of the events that took place in the 17th century during the Kazakh-Dzungar confrontation. Maksat decides to write a book telling about one of the most famous battles of that time. In the course of his work, he realizes that he needs to visit the site of an ancient battle. To do this, Maksat persuades his friend Zheka to take him there by car. He agrees, but on the way the car gets into an accident. In an incomprehensible way, friends find themselves in the Middle Ages. They encounter a group of horsemen heading towards the Kazakh militia. Maksat and Zheka join the militia. Soon Maksat realizes that he has met with the heroes of his book, work on which he has not yet completed.
