About this app

"Karelian Berries" (YAGODY.RU) is an app for wild berry pickers: mushrooms, lingonberries, blueberries, cranberries, and cloudberries. It helps you find a picking location, deliver your berries to a collection point, and receive payment on your card.

WHAT THE APP DOES

• Map of harvesting areas and yield forecast: where berries are currently being harvested, which locations have already been checked, and how to get there.

• Collection points on the map: addresses and current purchase prices for each berry type, so you can decide in advance where to bring them.

• Record your picking track. By clicking the "Start Track" button, the app records your route, distance traveled, steps, and stops. Recording continues when the screen is off and the app is minimized—a persistent notification appears in the notification bar the entire time. You can stop recording by clicking the "Stop" button. The completed track with statistics is saved in the "My Harvests" section: you can see where you've already traveled and return the same way, or, conversely, avoid repeating the same steps.

• "Team" mode. Gather together: participants see routes, stops, and each other's status on a shared map. In the forest, this is also a safety issue—you always know where everyone else is. Teams are joined by QR code, up to 9 people; team creation is available with a Premium subscription.

• Wallet and accounting: history of donations, weight and amount for each, card payments, and income verification.

This app is not intended for medical purposes. Steps and distance traveled are recorded only while recording a track and are shown in its statistics.
