Pyonrun is a typing practice app for beginners aged 6 and up. From children to adults, you can practice little by little with Pyon the rabbit, following the on-screen key and finger guides.
[Practice with a Tablet and Keyboard]
The tablet's landscape screen displays a large keyboard and hand guides. You can see the next key to press and the finger positions to use. In addition to compatible external keyboards, you can input by tapping the keys on the screen. Supports JIS and US layouts. Smartphones can be used in portrait mode.
[70 Steps, No Time Limit]
14 courses and 70 steps of basic practice, starting with J, F, and Space. Practice the alphabet, symbols, Shift, and Enter in order. There is no time limit for basic practice. Includes two warm-ups and an optional 60-second check.
[Run with Animals.] [Cooking in the Kitchen]
Typing animal names in Roman letters in "Race" and cooking ingredients in "Kitchen." These games are about 1 minute long, perfect for playing between practice sessions. You can choose your game from the start.
[Your Record and Short Review]
After practice, check your accuracy and mistakes for each key. Based on your record, the home screen will notify you of keys to review. Switching learners allows you to save their progress and game records separately.
[All Lessons and Games Free]
With the free version, ads may appear on the home screen and after completing practice/games. Ads will not appear during input, gameplay, or short intervals between steps in a course.
The ad-free plan is ¥200/month (auto-renewal) or a one-time purchase of ¥3,000. Both remove ads from the home screen and results screen. Additional lessons are not required. These are Japanese prices. Please check the store screen for purchase prices and conditions.
You can cancel monthly subscriptions from your Google Play subscription settings. Even if you switch to a one-time purchase, your monthly plan will not be automatically canceled. The purchase applies to all learners on this device and can be restored using the same store account. This does not include transferring between Apple and Google stores or sharing to other family accounts. Minors must obtain parental consent before purchasing.
[Even without an internet connection]
Pre-recorded exercises and games can be used offline. No learning account registration is required. Records are saved on the device; there is no cloud synchronization or public ranking. An internet connection may be required for advertisements, purchases, and restoration.
The screen and exercise content are in Japanese. The basic course focuses on English letters and symbols and does not include long-form text input or a systematic Romanization course.
