About this app

Mobio helps people in Rwanda discover nearby mobility contacts and coordinate directly.

The app is a lightweight marketplace for discovery and communication. It is not a taxi dispatch, fare quote, route tracking, or in-app payment service.

KEY FEATURES

Nearby discovery
Find nearby drivers or passengers who have chosen to be visible, then view their basic profile and vehicle type.

Vehicle profiles
Browse vehicle types such as moto, cab, truck, trike, and private car where available.

Scheduled trip posts
Create and view scheduled trip posts so others can see planned routes and times.

Direct communication
Continue the conversation through in-app chat or WhatsApp handoff. Fares and trip details are negotiated manually between users outside Mobio.

Privacy controls
Location visibility is limited to the discovery features users choose to use. Users can report or block abusive contacts.

Made for Rwanda
Mobio starts with Rwanda-focused mobility coordination and keeps the experience simple for drivers and passengers.

Mobio does not process ride payments, provide automatic fare quotes, dispatch drivers, track active routes, manage trip completion, or settle driver earnings.
