Caju is a free Android App to support correct quality assessment of raw cashew nuts (RCN).
The app will guide field techs through a step-by-step process of collecting 10-15 cashew quality metrics, including geo-tagged time-stamped photos. The app will store the collected data both locally on the app and to a cloud database. Furthermore, the app connects to buyers.
The structured, transparent, and photo-supported data increases confidence between buyers and field techs.
Examples of the data captured include name, location, phone number, time-stamped geo-tagged photos, moisture level, nut count, defective nut ratio, etc...
