About this app

Shape the future of the wireless industry by joining the AppOptix consumer mobile research panel. AppOptix panel members are given the opportunity to share their opinion and provide valuable feedback through completing surveys. For every survey you complete, you will be rewarded and global companies will take on board your feedback and use it to improve the consumer experience of a product in the future.
As a panel member, you will be joining a select group of participants to share your opinion through surveys that are taken within the AppOptix mobile application. Within the AppOptix mobile app, you can check your points balance and stay up to date with any AppOptix related information with the AppOptix notifications center.
AppOptix is currently available in 5 countries including: Australia, Canada, India, United Kingdom and United States. Rewards can be redeemed at a wide variety of stores that differ country-by-country.

How To Join AppOptix
Joining our panel is quick and easy:
Step 1: Download the application from the Google Play Store
Step 2: Enter your e-mail address and complete the installation process that includes turning on permissions
Step 3: You will arrive at the AppOptix mobile app home page where you will see a validation link. Follow the validation link and you will complete your Panel Member registration.

Important Information

Excluded Devices
Amazon Devices
Since Amazon brand devices only use a variant of the Android operating system, at this time these devices are not compatible with AppOptix.
Apple Devices
We currently do not accept Apple devices onto the Panel.

AppOptix Operational Requirements
AppOptix is designed for smartphones running Android 6.0 (Lollipop) and higher. Smartphones below 6.0 will not be accepted on the panel. With 6.0 and higher, you must give AppOptix permission to run on your smartphone. To do this, on your smartphone, go to Settings -> Security -> Apps With Access to Usage Data and switch AppOptix on so that it turns green.

What We Track
The AppOptix application tracks application usage behavior, including the app name, date/time, location, and duration of the usage. This information helps us determine which surveys and research opportunities we can invite you to join.

What We Don’t Track
The application does NOT collect any personal information such as telephone numbers, e-mails, usernames, passwords, keystrokes, nor monitor the content of the files.

Ratings and reviews

it stopped adding points; emailed them and no response for more than a month. Update: The developer responded saying they don't have record of emails. We sent multiple emails, and yes it could have been under different email address or account. But, we deleted the app after about 2 months of having issues and not hearing back. Now, no longer interested in it.

Having had the app for 10 years, it has worked sometimes with no issues, and other times, it's a total glitch. Currently I have had enough points to redeem a gift card for six months, but it hasn't sent one, nor is there anywhere in the app that I can request it. Basically, they are gathering my data for free. It seems to be stuck at 350, and doesn't increase my points each week. Is this app still valid?

I've been using this app for some time now. I have over $100 worth of Amazon gift cards from this now it doesn't work at all. I switched to an LG V20 and it just stays on the loading screen. Please fix this. I'll definitely change my rating when the issue is dealt with. Edit: Ive been using this app since 2013 and now that they changed to surveys, i haven't received one. I really did enjoy this app, but i think its time to delete it.
