About this app

Whether you're visiting Saarland for the first time or have been living here for a long time, the Saarland app will help you discover the region in a whole new way. The app is published by Tourismus Zentrale Saarland GmbH and is not an official government or agency app.

The app is your digital travel guide for on the go. It shows sights, hiking and biking trails, events, restaurants, family-friendly destinations, regional producers, accessible facilities, and accommodations. You can plan your own tours and save favorites to a watchlist.

You can share your location or select a specific location like the city of Saarlouis or Losheim am See – and immediately see what awaits you there. It also shows you the nearest bus and train stops, including current departure times in real time. This data is provided by the SaarVV (www.saarvv.de).

A special highlight for all guests with the Saarland Card: The app clearly shows you all the cultural and leisure facilities that you can visit free of charge with the card. Further information can be found at https://www.urlaub.saarland/planen-buchen/saarland-card
