About this app

The Master Flash Cards app was created to help you memorize English words quickly and permanently. It uses the principle of the forgetting curve, discovered by scientist Hermann Ebbinghaus. This method demonstrates that long-term memorization requires repeating words at specific intervals. This means you don't just repeat words, but repeat them precisely when it's most effective for memorization. Our algorithm automatically organizes these repetitions; you only need to choose whether you remember the word or not.

MasterFlashCards offers 10,000 English words, grouped by difficulty level (from beginner to advanced). These words are the most frequently used in everyday speech. You'll first be given a short test to determine your level.

By starting with the first 300 words, you'll be able to understand approximately 65-70% of basic speech. As you learn the next 1,000 words, this figure will increase to 85-90%, and complete mastery of all levels will provide a vocabulary at the level of an American high school graduate, which will allow you to understand approximately 95-98% of the everyday speech of native speakers.
