I wish it was better. The game itself could be a great but it is so bogged down by screen clutter from random stuff and all the packages they want you to buy. I did buy the no forced ads, but all that did was make it playable for a couple days. you will still need to watch dozens upon dozens of adds a day just to do basic things. For example to hire a random crew member it costs 265 gems, which I can get 2-12 from a box i waited for to drop, then watch a 60 second add just to get the minimum.

I want to like it so bad, the core gameplay loop itself of swiping and upgrading crew and defeating epic fish and stuff is great, but it's so bogged down by ads, open a money box? ad. open a item crate? ad., collect your quest reward? ad. and then asks you to pay money to not have forced ones, plus the gems you need for so much relies on constantly watching ads, not to mention like half the time it doesn't even work so you wasted a minute of your time watching an ad for no reward

If you want to have fun swiping around, fishing, and leveling up then sure try it, but don't waste your money on this game. I bought the ad-less pack just because the game got so unbearable with how every 40 seconds there would be an ad, and now the game is entirely dependent on ad-related boosts that dont work most of the time anymore without relaunching the game, meaning I just watched another ad for no reason. They know it's like this, but choose not to do anything to fix it.
