FREE TRIAL
Word Keeper comes with a 1-week free trial period. If you cancel before the end of the trial, you will not be charged for the subscription.

SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase or after the free trial period. You subscription will automatically renew unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings in the App Store after purchase.

Unusable. Requires creating an account on screen two, requires choosing a payment plan (and rather expensive, at that) on screen three. Offers a week of trial, to use which you need to provide payment details first. Seeing how my country has been decoupled from intentional payments by Visa & MC, I can't do that. So, no idea what the app even looks like. Awful UX so far. And while nobody expects you to do something about payments, it's totally your own decision to block access even for a trial.

Solid potential. It's similar in focus and simplicity to defunct app Writeometer, abs similar in stats to Pacemaker.press. But unlike Pacemaker Press it doesn't have support for editing or different count types (eg count pages edited). It also doesn't support negative word goals (reducing a draft's word count), but that's a fairly rare feature. My biggest annoyance is that you can't use the "free trial" of this without setting up a recurring payment, which you then have to remember to cancel.

Though when I first installed this app there were a ton of crashing issues, the dev team of this app immediately reached out to help resolve the issue. They fixed it within just a couple of days and now the app works perfectly. It's a great help to time my writing out and keep track of how much I write in a day. Love it!
