Kattkompis is a free app for Swedish cat owners who want to help each other.
THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL FIND
• Cat sitting with neighbors when you're away. No fees, no percentages. Just neighbors helping each other.
• Lost alarm. Does your cat go missing? Set up an alarm and reach neighbors in the area immediately.
• Found a cat? Describe the cat and see if anyone nearby is missing it.
• Chip reader map. Find the nearest neighbor with a chip reader when you need to check on a found cat – even at 10:00 PM on a Sunday.
• Cat profiles. Show off your cats with photos, personality and a short history.
WHY THE APP EXISTS
My name is Oscar and I started Kattkompis myself. I think cat owners in Sweden deserve something better than Facebook groups when their cat has gone missing or needs sitting. The idea is simple: the more neighbors who are involved, the better everything works. A stray cat alarm 300 meters away will find its way home. One 8 km away will not.
WHAT IT COSTS
Nothing. For everyone. No premium features, no commissions, no ads. The app is not funded by selling you anything.
FOR WHOM
Cat owners in Sweden, regardless of whether you have one cat or five. Are you a neighbor who likes cats but doesn't have one yourself? You are welcome to help with sitting or stray alarms - many neighbors do.
