Am I missing something? I don't see any option to send alerts on a price drop or even to save something I'm looking for for later. It just compares prices. which is something I can do using Google anyway

Hi, I hear you, the app doesn't provide the features you expect. We know these are features users are asking for, and we hope to be able to offer them to all our markets through a logged in experience in the future, as we've haven't been able to for now due to technical limitations.

Used many years and the app gradually got only worse over time. Roll it back to be less annoying and more practical.
