Row Counter is a calm, distraction-free counter for knitting and crochet. One giant tap target fills the top of the screen, so you can count a row with your needles still in hand. No need to look, no tiny buttons to hunt for. A gentle haptic tick confirms every count, and minus and undo buttons are there when you miscount. Long-press the number to edit or reset it.
The linked repeat counter is the feature knitters actually need. Set your repeat (say, every 6 rows) and it cycles from 1 to N automatically as you count, with a clear visual and haptic pulse on the last row of each repeat. That is your signal for a decrease row or a pattern change. Add up to three extra counters per project for sleeves, sections, or pattern rows, each with an optional goal and a progress bar, so "knit to row 42" is always a glance away.
Everything is built for real projects. Save your projects locally with names and notes, keep the screen awake while you work, and read big, glanceable numbers from a metre away.
What Row Counter does not do:
- No pop-up ads, ever. No interstitials. Nothing that moves or interrupts a row.
- No subscription. One small one-time purchase (29 SEK) removes the single bottom banner forever.
- No account, no sign-up, no sync.
Privacy, plainly: the app works fully offline and requests zero permissions. We collect nothing ourselves, and nothing is stored on our servers because there are no servers. The only data involved is handled by the Google AdMob banner (a device identifier, used for advertising), and it goes away the moment you remove ads.
Made for knitters and crocheters who just want to count.
