About this app

In the mobile application Metical you can explore the 2024 banknote series of Banco de Moçambique. The content in the application will give you more information about the new banknotes and it is focused on explaining the security features of the new banknotes.

The application has the following functionality and features:
You can activate your mobile device camera to scan the new banknotes which will lead to more detailed information about the security features of the banknote.
There is a carousel where you can swipe between the new banknotes and you can choose between each new banknote to get more information about the security features of each note.
There are a number of different security features that are available to explore in the application: Feel, Look and Tilt to give you the possibility to learn more and get familiar with the new banknotes.
There are also links to videos and more information in the application for more details regarding the release of the new banknotes.
