Discover Skåne! is for those who want to discover all that Scania has to offer.
Here you will find places and sights that you cannot easily find elsewhere. The app guides you out on the small pleasant roads so that the journey between the destinations becomes an experience as well.
Discover Skåne! gives you unique opportunities to experience destinations that are not marked on regular maps. The app is based on the concept that I am here - what is there to see and experience?
It is not unusual that you are out driving and see something interesting but there is no information about what it is. It could be a building, a rune stone or something else where you guess there is a story behind it, but there is no sign or information. The Discover Skåne! app is built both to find the sights you want to travel to and for those you happen to pass by. With the Discover Skåne! app, you don't need to know the name of the attraction, it's enough that you're in its vicinity.

How to use the app:
The map:
The Scanian flags with numbers mark that there are several places to visit in the area. When you zoom in on the map, the flags change to markers for the individual destinations.
Click on a marker for a destination to bring up an information window with a brief description of the destination. Click on the information window to go to a page with more information.
Only the destinations listed on the places and events search pages are displayed. If you have set search to the center of the map, the search will automatically update when you move the map.
Information page:
Here you can read more about the destination.
Click on the address or coordinates of the destination to start navigation to the destination.
Click on the web address to get to the destination's website in a web browser.
Click on the phone number or email address to contact the destination.
Under the contact information there are tags about the destination.
Press the back arrow to go to the previous page.
Places page:
Here you can set your search area for both the map and the list displayed under the search criteria. Click on a destination to get an information page about the destination. Places include everything from beautiful roads to places to see, things to do and places to live.
Filter page:
Here you can specify what type of places you are looking for. You can choose to filter on a high level or a low level. The flexibility lets you tailor the search to your needs.
Info page:
Here you will find quick links with phone numbers for emergency contacts for urgent and non-urgent emergencies. Click on a phone number to call it.
You will also find settings and information about the app, as well as this information.
