Your parents are ageing. Caring for them should not cost you your own life.
HoldingHands is where a family keeps one shared picture of how Mum and Dad are doing, so the work stops living inside one person's head and one group chat.
WHAT IT DOES EVERY DAY
The morning brief. One message at 7: what medicine was taken yesterday, what is happening today, who is on duty. A quiet day is reported as a quiet day.
Medicines. Every dose, for both parents, with the name of whoever gave it. One tap to confirm. If a dose is missed, the person responsible hears about it first, and you hear about it next.
Appointments. Photograph the clinic letter and the app fills in the date, the department and the fasting note, then asks who is bringing them.
The roster. Duties claimed by name, gaps said out loud, and an honest four week picture of who has been carrying what. It ends the "why is it always me" argument with facts instead of feelings.
Your helper. Her own screen: today's list, big buttons, one tap each, and a photo when something is not clear. She is a professional in the circle, not staff under watch.
Your parent's own screen. Elder Mode has five giant buttons, Chinese first, and what they tap shows up in the family record as theirs. Independence is the point.
The emergency card. Conditions, medicines, allergies, clinic, the people to call. Two taps, works with no signal, prints to wallet size.
Your words. What to say when you have to take the car keys away, hire a helper, split the costs with a brother who does nothing, or sit at a bedside. In English and in Chinese.
The money. Who paid what, tallied every month, split between siblings without screenshots in the chat.
And someone watching how you are doing. Two minutes on a Monday. If your tank is running low, HoldingHands hands one of your duties to someone else and writes the message for you.

It does not give medical, money or legal advice, and it is not built to. It records and it reminds. Your doctor and your pharmacist advise, and HoldingHands prints them a clean medicine list so every visit starts with the full picture instead of a guess.

Care in Singapore and across Asia works differently, and the app is shaped around it: the helper has her own role, Chinese runs through the whole app, both your parents and your in-laws sit in one circle, siblings split the costs, and the sibling overseas gets the picture without calling every Sunday.
WHO SEES WHAT
Every role sees only what it should. A helper never sees documents or money. A doctor sees a consented, read-only summary. The owner can see who looked at what and when. Nothing is sold, rented or shared outside your family, ever. You can download everything and delete everything from inside the app, at any time, without asking anyone.
