Something stirs in Mudbury.

Blight is a cooperative multiplayer action RPG where you and your friends defend a village against waves of orcs, skeletons, slimes, and worse. Every sprite is drawn in code, every song composed in Lua, and every villain has something rude to say before you cut them down.

QUEST MODE
Twelve encounters across three acts. It starts with panicked chickens in the village square and ends somewhere much darker. Fight bandits in the Whispering Wood, face blighted horrors in corrupted towns, and discover what the blight actually wants. Every encounter is scripted with its own waves, dialogue, and atmosphere.

HORDE MODE
Defend the village tree against endless waves. Orcs grunt, skeletons make bone puns, slimes boom in deep voices, and the demon boss squeaks when you hit him. Survive as long as you can.

WEAPONS
Swords, axes, halberds, daggers, bows, boomerangs, spears, maces, ball and chain, holy hand grenades, molotovs, and of course your fists. Pick them up, swing them around, throw them at things.

MUSIC
43 original songs spanning gothic organ, Celtic folk, space ambient, industrial metal, jazz, and military march. All composed in Lua and played live through a MIDI engine.

NO ART FILES
Every sprite, every building, every pumpkin, every chicken is drawn procedurally in code. The entire game ships without a single image file.

MULTIPLAYER
Join friends or play with bots who say things like "I came for ham" and "Hold my mead." The bots have personalities, pick up weapons, and occasionally wander off when they shouldn't.

What’s new

A release about holding things properly. You can no longer wield two two-handed weapons at once: picking up a two-hander now clears your other hand instead of quietly stacking, so halberd-juggling is officially retired. Behind the scenes, crash reports now come straight to our own studio infrastructure, so when something breaks we hear about it sooner. Same village, sturdier grip.
