About this app
Clean Coast is a field application for the annual voluntary campaign to clean up the Slovenian coast. It is intended for group leaders and location coordinators, who use it to record participants, the progress of the cleanup, and the collected and listed waste.
YOU NEED A QR CODE
To use it, you need a QR code. You will receive it from the organizers before the start of the cleanup. Simply scan the code or enter it manually. Registration, a user account, and a password are not required.
We recommend that you scan the QR code when you still have an internet connection. Then you can use the application even without a signal.
AS A GROUP LEADER
• confirm the presence of registered participants and add those who joined the campaign without prior registration;
• mark the start and end of the cleanup;
• list the collected waste according to the inventory sheet - 46 types of waste in 6 categories;
• record the most unusual find of the day;
• record a dangerous find. Do not pick up needles or other dangerous objects – the app will direct you to notify the location coordinator;
• record the finding of a trapped or dead animal. Do not touch or move the animal.
AS A LOCATION COORDINATOR
• monitor the groups at your location and how many have already been weighed;
• enter the weight of the collected waste in four categories: plastic and metal packaging, glass, cigarette butts and mixed waste;
• add a photo of the collected bags if desired;
• call the leader of each group directly from the app.
LOCATION AND CAMERA
The app can record the location at the start and end of the cleanup and when reporting a dangerous find. It does not track your path and does not use the location in the background. If you do not allow access to the location or the location is turned off, the entry is still saved.
The camera is used to scan the QR code and to optionally take photos of the finds. The app does not have access to other photos in your gallery.
AFTER THE ACTION
After the campaign is completed and all data has been successfully transferred, the data that the application no longer needs is removed from the phone. Only a short summary of the campaign without personal data remains: the cleaned section of the coast, the number of participants, and the number and weight of waste collected.

Obrazca za ujeto žival in za novega udeleženca imata gumb za zapiranje v
desnem zgornjem kotu. Tipkovnico skrijete tudi s potegom po obrazcu navzdol.
