About this app

The KamenCheck application is a learning aid that can be used to determine typical Slovenian rocks on the basis of the determination key. It covers three main substantive topics: Stone Key, Encyclopedia and Little School. In the Stone Key, the name of the selected stone is determined by observing and answering a question with YES / NO. The help is in the orange-colored link to the interpretation of geological terms and procedures in the Mali School. The answers lead us to detailed descriptions of the rocks in the Encyclopedia.

The application was made in the framework of the student project StoneKey (Key for determining rocks as a learning aid in formal and non-formal education), which was carried out in the framework of the public call "After the Creative Path to Knowledge 2017-2020". The project was co-financed by the Public Scholarship Development, Disability and Maintenance Fund of the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport and the European Union from the European Social Fund.
