FloodWatch (the “Application”) is a citizen science platform developed by the Institute for Karst Research of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Institute for Anthropological and Spatial Studies of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts. It is funded by the Public Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation of the Republic of Slovenia (ARIS) within the framework of the projects “Impact of climate change on water resources and ecology of an intermittently flooding karst aquifer: Zgornja Pivka” (J1-60004) and the Karst Research programme (P6-0119), with additional support from the European research infrastructure LifeWatch ERIC.
The application is intended exclusively for monitoring and documenting the dynamics of water levels in karst intermittent lakes and fields. Any other use is strictly prohibited.
