About this app

Socratix is ​​the mobile application from CONVERSA LCP. It's a restricted-access educational tool: to use it, you need an account provided by your institution or an access link. It's not an open messaging application and doesn't allow self-registration.

WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH SOCRATIX

• Access the courses you're enrolled in and follow the activities from your phone.

• Work with a Socratic tutor who guides you with questions, provides feedback, and tracks your progress.

• Read the learning materials as designed: formatted texts, tables, images, videos, and mathematical formulas.

• Receive a notification when there's a new assignment or a response waiting for you.

• Pick up where you left off in your previous conversations.

WHAT SOCRATIX DOESN'T DO

• You can't search for or contact other people: there's no user directory or direct messaging between students. The only direct chat you'll have is with the course tutor.
• You cannot create courses, groups, or channels, nor invite anyone.

• There is no public content, no walls, and no third-party updates: you only see the spaces for the courses you are enrolled in.

• There is no advertising or in-app purchases.

HOW TO ACCESS

Your institution creates the account and sends you access via email. When you open the application, the server is already configured: you simply log in. Without an active institutional account, the application has no available functions.

PRIVACY

Your data is stored on your institution's server and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes. The application does not include third-party analytics or tracking tools.
