FaYoW is a collaborative project that allows anyone to share anecdotes about their surroundings, at any time. The goal is to make these anecdotes accessible to anyone passing through the area, in the form of a short audio message played through their headphones.
The user rediscovers their environment: At a glance, they can spot anecdotes around them on a map. Then, as they walk, FaYoW tells them stories...
The user also enriches the experience: With a click, they can type a draft wherever they are. They can refine their message before submitting it for moderation.
A network of moderators publishes messages that adhere to the FaYoW charter: positive, short, informative, and unbiased.
