To begin the day with God's blessing ... so that God's word: "Behold, I create everything new!" (Revelation 21.5) can take place daily in us and through us. To start the day with the knowledge that the Lord still wants to lead me today, he wants to be with me, that even today he will protect me and help me; Knowing that I am still going out today to do His will, He has blessed this world with His blessing: the work I will do, the relationships I will enter into.
This daily blessing is for those who do not want to live their lives "alone with their fragile humanity," and the Fields want to invite the Lord God into everything and give Him full power over all that will be the content of the beginning of the day.
The daily blessing begins with the word of God that the Lord gives us through the Church every day, as a manifestation of His love and mercy; a word that should bear blessed fruit in and through us; with a word that should help us to discern and decide for God's cause, to do God's will.
