About this app

The Reader application is intended for Tatra banka clients who have activated the Internet bankingTB service and serves to generate codes for logging in, activating or authorizing transactions in Tatra banka's electronic channels.

The reader is equivalent to the standard Card and Reader authorization and authentication tool, and is equally secure.

The reader can be activated
- Directly in the application - using facial biometrics. For activation, you need PID - personal identification number, a valid Slovak ID card, an SMS code sent during activation to your profile phone number, and a scan of your face.
- In person at the branch
- By phone
During activation, the Reader prompts the user to set a login password, the expiration time of which depends on its complexity, and to set a fingerprint for more convenient login.
The Reader requires an Internet connection for activation and updating. Subsequently, it can also be used offline.

The current version of the Reader application is available for devices with the Android 6 and higher operating system.

slow. Edit: e.g. after typing password and pressing the Login button, it takes ~8 seconds to show the menu

useless step, if I HAVE TO confirm the payment through this additional app, i shouldnt have to switch back to the original app, which logs me out and makes it impossible to send a payment.

Hello, we are sorry for dissatisfaction, please check if you have turned on max 2 minutes in the background in the settings in mobile application. If no, you can turn it on and then application dont sign you off after comfirming payment.

Why can't you just put the functionality of this app into your main internet banking application, so user don't have to memorize one more password and install one more redundant application on his phone ? It is soooo uncomfortable and useless !
