Your old tractor communicates automatically with our Smartfarming system. The app is also linked to näon Smartfarming. Notes on using the app: Regarding the app's accuracy, please note that the application maps from the web version have an accuracy of 10 x 10 meters, which is determined by the accuracy of the satellite from which näon obtains the biomass maps. Accuracy may also vary, for example, under trees or buildings, as a satellite receives the best signal in open areas. However, Smartfarming's track planning is significantly more accurate (> 1m deviation).
Please note that your phone's power saving mode must be turned off when using the app:
Turn off power saving mode when using the app (Apple):
1. Open your phone's settings
2. Select the Battery tab
3. Disable the power saving mode toggle
Turn off power saving mode when using the app (Android):
1. Open your phone's settings
2. Select the Battery tab
3. Disable the power saving toggle
It is also important that geolocation is enabled on your phone:
Adjust your phone's geolocation settings (Apple):
1. Open your phone's settings
2. Scroll down to Apps
3. Tap Apps
4. Find and tap the Smartfarming näon app
5. Tap/open Location
6. Select either "Ask next time or share," "While using the app," or "Always"
7. Enable the "Precise location" toggle
Adjust your phone's settings for Android Geolocation:
1. Open your smartphone's settings
2. Scroll down to Apps
3. Tap Apps
4. Find and tap the Smartfarming näon app
5. Tap Permissions
6. Tap Location
7. Now select either "Ask every time" or "Allow access only while using the app"
8. Activate the slider next to "Precise location"
