Rock paper scissors, except the other player is paying attention.
Expert doesn't roll dice. It builds a model of how you throw: the symbol you favour when you're behind, the one you reach for right after a loss, the small loops you fall into without noticing. Then it plays against that. Beat it and it adjusts. Most people watch a winning streak evaporate somewhere around round twenty, which is about when the habits they didn't know they had start to show.
THE THROW IS A GESTURE, NOT A BUTTON
Press and hold, and two clay hands pump three times over your choice. Release on "1" and it's committed. Let go early and you've fouled. You can change your mind mid-pump by sliding to another tile; that's legal, and it's often the right call once you've read the room. The timing never changes from round to round, so the pressure is yours, not the game's. If the gesture isn't for you, "Tap to throw" in Settings swaps it for a single tap and leaves everything else alone.
EIGHT RUNGS TO CLIMB
Expert gets sharper on every one. The last few will make you work for it. Practice mode lets you set up a specific situation and drill it until it stops catching you out.
WHAT'S IN IT
- An opponent that models your habits instead of rolling dice
- Eight rungs of difficulty, each one reading you better than the last
- Press-and-hold throws with a three-count pump, or one-tap if you prefer
- Two sets of hand-sculpted clay hands
- A full stats screen showing how you actually throw
- Practice mode for drilling one situation until it clicks
- Plays offline, in short sessions, whenever you have a minute
UNDER THE HOOD
The difficulty comes from pattern recognition, not randomness. If you want the technical term for it, this is a rock paper scissors AI in the older sense of the phrase: a small machine learning model that trains on your throw sequences and runs entirely on your phone. No chatbot, no prompts, no cloud.
FREE TO START
Rungs one to three are free, along with both sets of clay hands and the full stats screen. One purchase, no subscription, unlocks rungs four to eight and practice mode.
NO STRINGS
