About this app

Anch'ioSegnalo is a free App for smartphone that is provided to citizens for alerting competent authorities about threatening or dangerous events happening in the territory of Sicilian Region. The alerts sent with Anch'ioSegnalo will be taken in consideration by Department of Civil Protection of the Region of Sicily, which will decide if to intervene and in which manner. The person who sends the alert could be contacted for further information. Anch'ioSegnalo MUST NOT be used as a replacement for an emergency call on personal status of danger. If the user is, or thinks to be, in a situation of danger that threats his/her life or that of someone, he/she must ALWAYS call the emergency number. The inappropriate use of Anch'ioSegnalo could be reported to the competent authorities.
