BEAM TV is a player, remote and organiser for a media service you already use and are authorized to access. It supplies no channels, movies, playlists, provider accounts or subscriptions. Sign in to your own provider and browse live TV, movies and series in one clean library.
WATCH ON YOUR PHONE
Play directly in BEAM's built-in mobile player—no separate player app is required. Use play, pause, seek, resume progress, audio and subtitle tracks, plus aspect-safe Fit and Cover display modes. BEAM never stretches or squeezes the original video proportions.
SEND IT TO YOUR TV
Optionally install BEAM TV Companion on Android TV or Google TV and pair once with a short-lived QR code. Choose Play on TV to send a selected channel or video and its resume position, then pause, resume, seek supported media, mute or unmute, and follow playback progress from your phone. The full TV edition includes its own player; the separate Lite TV edition uses VLC for Android.
BUILT AROUND YOUR LIBRARY
Keep favorites, watch history and resume-where-you-left-off progress across live TV, movies and series. Sign in to an optional BEAM account to link TVs and, with Premium, synchronize supported library data between your devices.
FREE, WITH PREMIUM
BEAM is free and supported by ads. A free user can explicitly choose to watch one rewarded ad to unlock built-in mobile playback on that installation for a rolling 24 hours. A rewarded ad never starts automatically. Premium removes mobile ads, includes mobile playback without the daily unlock and enables supported remote cloud commands when the phone and TV are on different networks.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Provider credentials are kept in platform secure storage when you choose to remember them. Nearby phone-to-TV commands use authenticated, certificate-pinned HTTPS. BEAM connects directly to HTTPS providers; an encrypted BEAM compatibility gateway may process catalog requests for an HTTP-only provider, but it does not relay video. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
BEFORE YOU INSTALL
You need an account with an independent compatible media provider and permission to access the media you add. A TV is optional for phone playback. For nearby TV control, install a compatible BEAM TV Companion and connect the phone and TV to the same local network. VLC is required only when you choose the separate Lite TV edition.
BEAM is independent and is not sponsored, endorsed or certified by Google, VideoLAN or any media provider.
