Songwriter's Notebook is your complete solution for creating and documenting your song ideas. This includes lyrics, chords, tabs, recorded audio, and basic song arrangement functionality. Collaborate with friends to write songs together, or ask Harmony, your personalized AI songwriting assistant, for help with chords, lyrics, or going hands-free with voice chat.

Write your lyrics with rhyme indicators and syllable counts. Feeling stuck? Use the build in Word Finder to search for rhymes and synonyms, or ask AI to fill in your next line or verse for inspiration. Easily copy or rearrange lyrics with just a few taps. With auto-saving version History and quick undo/redo capabilities, write without fear of losing your work.

Add chords to your song from the chord library. Use a variety of preset guitar and piano chords, or create custom chords with our interactive piano and guitar fretboard. Need some more inspiration? Add a random chord, or ask AI to suggest some chords for your song. Alternate guitar tunings and capo positions are supported!

Record melodies or instruments by adding any number of recordings to a line or section in your song.

Need somewhere to write down that epic guitar solo you just figured out? Use the built in tabs feature to associate any number of guitar tabs with a line or section in your song. Record a playthrough to add to your tab for reference.
