I don't use this app often but when I need it I really hate it. Why isn't there an option to switch it to a light mode? That dark theme is very difficult to see anything on the map. You can't really see roads, boundaries, parks... absolutely nothing. I have to increase the brightness to the max to see anything. This is ridiculous.

App has gone downhill. Too much pressure to subscribe, and free features don't work reliably enough to instill confidence that premium would be any better. Location doesn't update consistently. Keeps giving alerts for things nowhere near where I am. When I open the app, I have to get through ads to subscribe and then can't find current, nearby incidents very easily.

It's not a bad app. The idea is great. However, I find the alerts hit or miss. Sometimes I get relevant alerts near me but sometimes I get none at all only to find out from a neighbor that something happened. The big issue, and while not the fault of the app, is that police and fire departments all over the nation are encrypting thier radios. When this happens there is nothing that anyone can do to listen to them, and hense, send accurate and timely alerts.
