The Warehouse Receipt System (SRG) is a trading and financial instrument that allows commodities stored in warehouses to obtain financing from financial institutions without the need for other collateral. SRG implementation refers to Law No. 9 of 2006 concerning the Warehouse Receipt System, as amended by Law No. 9 of 2011.
Responding to the trading challenges in the digital era, the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (Bappebti) of the Ministry of Trade launched the Mobile Warehouse Receipt System (SRG) application that provides convenience for communities around Gudang SRG locations in conducting SRG activities, both storage of goods, submission of financing to financial institutions and commodity marketing. This application is designed to improve SRG services so that Warehouse Receipt owners, as well as Warehouse Managers can get more optimal benefits from SRG.
This application is equipped with the SRG Rich Simulation feature to provide an estimate of the total costs needed while utilizing SRG. The Storage Plan feature will make it easier for potential depositors to contact the nearest SRG Warehouse Manager to come and bring the items to be stored in the SRG warehouse. The Commitment of Commodity Price Information System which was also built and developed by CoFTRA can help the Property Owner to make decisions when the right time to store or sell the commodity. To facilitate the marketing plan of commodities stored in the warehouse, this application is also connected to the Commodity Auction Market System. With the existing features, it is expected to facilitate interaction between Warehouse Receipt Owners, Warehouse Managers and Financing Institutions which are often constrained by time and place.
